what is the point in living these lives
we don't believe in?

when there is only
belief.

...because we've teetered so long at the point of no return, even if we wanted to live and believe, we're uncertain of it's direction; therefore we continue in our present certainty rather than risk a doubtful move.

Yep, I totally agree with you... it's not easy. But I think it's the living and believing that I (we?) need!
